Does anyone tie into this James FRENCH of Cumberland County, Kentucky? On the Cumberland County, KY 1799 Tax List: FRENCH, James, no land Cumberland County was where my Williams family lived.....Nancy WILLIAMS was Julia Ann DOUGHERTY's Mother.....Julia married Samuel FRENCH. Maybe there is a connection? If anyone has any information on this James, please let me know......maybe he is Samuel's Father or another brother of Samuel and George Hedges FRENCH.
