Looking for info on my grandfather. He married Rosella Josie Miller. (my grandmother). He was born Sept. 6, 1900. My grandmother was born Feb. 14, 1897. Both were born in Jasper County Illinois. They had 7 children. Four sons------ Sylvan Doris-------Melvin Marion----- Dillard Eugene----Albert Lee.---------- Three daughters-----Irene Ruby------ Catherine Della (my mother).-------- Ethel Doreen. Robert worked on the railroad. May have been the Illinois Central. He died when he was only in his late 30's. The story goes, he cut his leg with a corn husking knife. It never healed properly.
