Yes as a matter of fact I have a manuscript prepared on that French family. The earliest Mason French was the son of Hugh who died in 1701 in Richmond Co. VA. The Mason died in 1746 in Westmoreland Co. The next generation had two men named Mason both of whom died childless. The name continued in the various branched descended from Hugh. Only two branches descending from Mason produced issue with the surname French. Hugh1 had 3 sons and 2 daughters. Hugh2 had a son Hugh3 who had children Rachel and Mason. He also had sons Daniel and Mason neither one had issue. Both died before producing issue. Daniel 2 had a son Daniel3 and a daughter Margaret. Daniel3 had one daughter only. Mason had two children by an unknown first wife, Hugh and Robert. Robert died without issue. Hugh produced a number of sons including a son Mason. Mason had 3 sons and one daughter by the widow Catherine (Ellis) Bennett. They were Daniel, Mason and John. Both Daniel and Mason had no issue. John married Margaret Burgess and had a number of children in cluding a son Mason. Margaret Amundson
