    3. The only way you could be connected to this French/Reid is through William D. French and his marriage to Ella Leora Misner and their son, John who married Harriet Dimmack and they had 10 children. All of these children and their descendants go by the name of Reid, and their are a lot of them, buy they are really John FRENCH's and the descendants of William D. French. As far as I have been able to discern, there were NO children from Ella's marriage to Walter E. Reid. I wish someone knew when and where William and Ella were married, probably in New York, where she lived with her parents, but they lived in Grand Rapids, Kent, MI. There is a recording of her marriage to W.E. Reid in Grand Rapids, Kent, MI. I sent to MI vital records and they had no copy. Later I discovered it was found in the Grand Rapids Public Library - Index to Michigan research found in genealogical periodicals by Maud Quigley (main auther Western Michigan Genealogy Society (Grand Rapids, Michigan) (added author) book of compilation of aids and articles found in genealogical periodicals house in the Grand Rapids Public Library. (That was the way the entire source was written. Is there anyone out there at all that could possibly look that up for me? It it apparently listed by bride (twice for her, once as Ella Misner and again by her first married name French) and by groom, Walter E. Reid. If I could find out the date this would help figure out a lot of things. I have been searching this for so long it would be a very happy day for me if I could ever find it!
