Express-News: Obituaries FRENCH San Antonio Express-News FRENCH Mr. James W.E. 'Bill' French died October 23, 2000. Mr. French was a native Texan, an avid golfer, a good friend and a loving family member. Mr. French 'Frenchy' will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was a member of Highland Terrace United Methodist Church, the Alzafar Shrine Temple and retired from the Department of Defense at Kelly AFB. Surviving him are his wife, Gertie; two daughters, Pam Henry and her husband James of Pleasanton, TX and Debbie French of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Janna Poth and her husband Jody, Jason Henry and his wife Becky; two great-grandchildren, Joel Poth and Quinten Henry, all of Pleasanton, TX. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2000, 1:00 P.M. in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be one hour prior to Services in the chapel.
