William married Nancy Chapman, and their daughter, Frances was a G-Grandmother. Frances was born about 1800. Not sure, but assume there were other children of William and Nancy. They later moved to Independence County, Arkansas when it was still Arkansas Terrritory. William must have died but Nancy shows in 1850 census for Izard Co., AR as living with a son or grandson. Wish I had more specific information on your Levi, but thought I would contact you as my Frenches lived in same area at same time. Believe Simon was born in Spartanburg Co., SC and THINK that he was a Revolutionary War veteran, maybe got a land grant in Kentucky as a bonus? Best regards, Grace Baxter Constantine gconstan@worldpath.net
Grace, I will check into my French line, but in the meantime, are you related to Brad Constantine who now lives in Rocklin, CA with his wife April? Brad's great grandfather's name was really Constantino Mischelissimo. His grandfather changed the first name and made it their last name. In case your are having trouble with the Constantine line, you might check this out.
