Hello, I am researching the French name. My line is with James French and Elizabeth Ruble French who married Febr.4,1841 in Estill Co, Ky. I have the children born to this marriage, one of them being My grandfather, George Washington French born November 25,1840. I understand James was a blacksmith and a justice of the peace. He was born around 1816 and died 1861.I have no information on James at all. It's like he popped up from a rock. Can you help? Sure would appreciate it.
