    3. Good Evening, Does anyone happen to know what the name of the Mother of Elizabeth SYMMES FRENCH is. I do know that her father was William SYMMES. I have Elizabeth b. 1603 and William FRENCH her spouse b. 15 Mar. 1603. But I do not have a marriage date for them. Can someone help me with that also. Any help anyone can be I sure would appreciate.     3. I have the following: Elizabeth Symmes, b. ca. 1604/5, Canterbury, Kent , m. i) Nicholas Danforth, c. 1618; 2) Capt. William French, c. 1624, England, d. 31 Mar 1663 or 1668 in Billerica, MA, buried in Old South Cemetery. She came to America on the Defense in 1635. Father: Rev. William Symmes II, b. 4 Apr 1570 in Sandwich, Kent, m. 1595, Maud ? Children: Elizabeth, Rev. William III, Rev. Zachariah. Grandfather: Rev. William Symmes, b. 1544, St. Peter Parish, Sandwich, Kent.     3. I descend from this line of French's and am the last male of my branch, son of Thomas LeRoy French, Jr, grandson of Thomas, Sr., and great-great-great-great-great grandson of Hezekiah who was the first settler at Lincolnville, Maine near Camden. Hail the good ship Defence! Regards.
