News on Monday, August 16, 1965 Page 2, Col. 4. Edward Franklin FRENCH, of the Josephine Nursing Home, Dayton, died at 1:30 am Monday, where he had been a patient since June 1963. He was born May 08, 1870 in Fayette County, the son of William and Margaret DENT FRENCH. Mr FRENCH was a retired farmer. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs Helen DICKERSON of Columbus, Miss Gertrude FRENCH, Mrs Mabelle CARTER, both of Cleveland and Miss Julia FRENCH of Xenia; three sons, William and Forrest of Springfield and Robert of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His body was taken to the Win[?]ey Funeral Home, 335 E Market st, Xenia, where friends may call from 4 to 9 pm Wednesday. Services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday in the funeral home.
