Does anyone have a record of Frederick French, born April 18, 1832, perhaps in NY, PA or VT? My gg grandfather Frederick French was born around 1831-32, probably in Hoosick, NY. There were 7 French on the Miller Cherokee Roll (Rejected). Presumably some are on the accepted roll, but I do not have it. I know many people were falsely rejected. This Casandra was born much earlier than yours. Her father was born about 1760 or so. Married Sallie Taylor I think. She is the one person in the earlier generations of this french family I have not been able to track. I am not a descendant but am compiling all of the descendants of Hugh French of Virginia for publication at some point in the next few years. Burgess French the son of John French and Margaret Burgess had a daughter Cassandra whom I have not located. As a matter of fact I have not located Burgess French. He was said to have gone to Ohio in a law suit in Virginia in 1834 or so. Is there any evidence Cassandra had siblings? The daughter of Burgess had sisters and at least one brother. Margaret

No, I don't have any of these names. My g-ggrandfather was William M. French. He married in 1842 in Dale County,Alabama. to Christian McInnis. Later they moved to Jasper County, Miss. where I believe his Mother Harriet French lived and other relatives. I do not know where William was born. I surely would like to find that information.
