I don't have any CURRIER info to help you but was just looking last night at some copies of DAR records a new-found cousin sent me. I have not personally researched any of this so cannot vouch for its accuracy. These are the applications of Mrs. Mabel French Taylor of Cincinnati Ohio who was a desc. of Jonathan French born 1761 and Flora J. French born Cannan NH who was also a desc of Jonathan. This Jonathan was a brother to my line Benjamin FRENCH b. 1767. These papers appear to deal with earlier generations of the family you are referring to. Moses FRENCH born 1819 died in Manchester NH in 1903 married Elizabeth CURRIER 1841. Moses FRENCH was the son of Jonathan FRENCH born 1761 South Hampton and his wife Mary Crawford MILLS married 1801. Jonathan FRENCH was the son of James FRENCH b. 1736 and Mary COLLINS . Hi List, I have just joined this list in the hope of finding a connection to my FRENCH relative. Hannah FRENCH married Joshua HATHAWAY in Shapwick, Dorset in 1737. Joshua was born in 1716 so I presume Hannah was born around the same time. Richard I don't think so. My Thomas was in the Civil War from Jennings Co. At the end of his life was in the Soldiers Home at Marion, IN. He is buried in the Queensville Cemetery, Geneva Twp. Jennings Co. IN. Sorry we are not connected. These French families in IN are very hard to trace.
