    3. I am new to the list. The French line that I am researching ends with Violet French who married a Freestone in South Africa. I do not have much information on this line other than some medical history in that some of them have a hereditary condition called haemylitic anaemia. Regards Denise ______________________________

    2. Hi, does anyone know anything about Herbert French, he was a publican, probably in Poplar, England, on the 1901 census. He married my gt grandmother, Louisa Parker, nee Brown,1893. Also living with him 1901 were Louisa E, Alice M and Dorothy J, children of Louisa's first marriage. Any help greatly appreciated. Rita

    3. Thanks Mara! The last time I was up in Salisbury, MA, looking at records, etc., I spoke with some folk there at the public library (neighbors and meeting new cousins). The library is very close to the old Mudnock Rd and is built on a small "green" downtown. I was told that the old Edward French house was removed and added to the Topsfield home at time of road improvements and creation of a green area. Have you ever heard about the Edward French house and possibly having it moved to Topsfield? 3. Thanks for your reply. I have seen most of this. I do have a correct listing of his children taken from the copy of his probate record after he died. As to his wife, she was Sarah RANDLE or RANDALL, and not Rannels. This can be proved in their marriage record. I am not sure of Sarah's parents. The more I work this one, the more tangled it gets! I want to see the hard copy.... I'll see if I can sort this out. I feel that Phillip, David, George, and Samuel are brothers since they all were on the same side of the Wabash River and not too far apart. mhh
