    1. [FreeHelp]switching backgrounds in a different CSS file?

    3. Barry, I'm using your 2016 External CSS for my county pawashin site. It's been slow going to clean up pages. Other than tables, I'm doing mostly OK with applying the CSS. Those tables will be a bear to convert. However, my question.... how can I use the CSS as it is, but change the backgrounds for use on the military folders? Do I copy the CSS file into a new file name, then change the backgrounds, and put the new CSS file in those pages? What is the proper way to do this? In addition, I'm probably going to want to have another background set for the entire large folder of people photos. So same question-- how do I drop out the first css file and use a 3rd file? Thanks Judy

    3. Judy, If you need to make changes to the existing CSS on account of Military folders, then the following is possibly the easiest way to do it. Where the existing CSS is not doing what you want, add a second class to the appropriate item; e.g. class="newname oldname" Create a separate CSS file with styles for .newname. Test it by adding a link to it following the existing stylesheet. Once you are satisfied with the results, either leave everything as it is, else if you want to make work for yourself, remove the new stylesheet and add those styles to the bottom of your existing stylesheet. Barry /If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. - Lewis Carroll/ On 12/08/2018 16:00, JFlorian wrote: > Barry, > > I'm using your 2016 External CSS for my county pawashin site.
