My website has been restored. It is here: http://sites.rootsweb.com/~boyerlinks/ I'm very pleased that almost everything now works. But now I cannot change anything because Filezilla does not let me upload the changes I have made by using the text editor Kompozer. Here's what happens when I try to use Filezilla: Host: sftp://sitesuser.rootsweb.com Port: 22 Username: boyerlinks Password: (as given) Quickconnect: "Unknown host key" Remote site: boyerlinks Genealogy boyer_easton neil.html Quickconnect: Remote site boyerlinks/genealogy.html boyer_easton (This is on the right side of the screen. On the left side is Local site:C:\and a list of 20 files. None of the files opens Kompozer to allow me to edit the site. If I double-click on boyer_easton, it opens up a list of about 20 text files, but none of those opens up the editor. And so I am stuck. Nothing happens.) Advice? Many thanks in advance. Neil
I use Kompozer and Filezilla - separately. I update a page in Kompozer and then open Filezilla to upload it. It's just as easy for me that way.
