    3. Thank you Anne, That was it. I used one character that was not in the instructions and apparently wasn't allowed. "Passwords must be between 10 and 32 characters long, and must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one of the following special characters: _ ! & @ # ( ) Asterisk (*) is not an accepted character." I reset the password and I am now in. Jorge Heredia

    3. All my sites are up and active - yay. Now I’m trying to update them. Using Mac High Sierra, I’ve used Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 v11 for many years for my Rootsweb sites. In trying to connect I’m continually getting the following error: Cannot make connection to the host - Dreamweaver could not connect because the server is down or not accepting connections. I don’t know if that’s true or if I’m just entering something wrong (probably the latter). I’m trying to connect via: sftp Server Name sites.rootsweb.com <http://sites.rootsweb.com/> sftp Address: sites.rootsweb.com <http://sites.rootsweb.com/> User Name: ybowers Password Just changed it to over 10 letters using the characters suggested by Jorge on Port 22 What is the correct entry? Thanks! Yvonne Bowers Listmom, Boardmom, Webmom Rootsweb since 1997

    3. Only the newest version of Dreamweaver will allow you to publish through the software. You will have to publish using a 3rd party FTP like Filezilla. pat -----Original Message----- From: Yvonne Bowers [mailto:ybowers@gmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, August 1, 2018 1:35 PM To: Freepages Web Sites <freepages-help@rootsweb.com> Subject: [FreeHelp]Connecting With Dreamweaver All my sites are up and active - yay.
