I think it would look better with just a little space on right and left. But I'm unsure which width numbers I can change in the CSS or by how much? I changed one width from 57% to 50% but no effect. The H3 is inherited I assume from the primary CSS ( genealogy_dec-2014.css ) so it is flush left, instead of being centered. Should I just change that line to a class="center" ? The images do not show. I cannot figure out why. Both are in the _includes folder: _includes/2015a_sitewide_ff-logo-200.jpg _includes/2015a_sitewide_searches_google_custom_smnar.gif And I put both into the css file, but maybe I listed them the wrong way? One other thing... how are you intending the 's' tag? It results in a strikeout (see my page) but it isn't striking text on yours. I took out those tags, but then put it back. Not sure what you intended with that? Could you take a look please? Judy
Judy, The <div id="searches"> has been included OK. I note the comment after the closing </div> is missing a dash - should be <!--end #searches--> You haven't included the link to my CSS (file has been uploaded), which should come after your site CSS in the <head> section. The images I used are not the same as yours, and you need to download them from my site and ensure that the url(s) in the CSS file are adjusted for the path and names that you use. Once you have done that, let me know and I'll have another look. Don't worry about anything else until you've got the basics right. ;-) BTW; I couldn't find your include, i.e. http://freepages.genealogyrootsweb.ancestry.com/~lorian/_include/2015a_sitewide_searches_new.htm ... even after I fixed up a couple of typo's in the url.
