    3. I recently came across this website and to see what it was like I searched for a rare surname which appears in my family tree. I wasn't surprise when pages from my website at rootsweb came up, but I was concerned that this site seemed to want to charge to view information that I had provided. Has anyone had any experience of mocavo?

    3. You can (or could) get a free account that allowed to search and see articles, or so they claimed, but I wasn't able to access any of them from a free account. When I challenged them about they said it WAS possible. It would appear only certain articles were available, the rest had to be paid for. I was also getting mails telling me about "new finds" which were anything but or were totally irrelevant. The site is now part of BrightSolid, which also owns FindMyPast, GenesReunited and Origins, amongst others. 3. I find Colin's complaint a little annoying on the grounds of when I noticed his surname being BYE I emailed him asking him if he had family here in Australia as my Late Mothers maiden name was BYE. You might wonder why I'm writing this! I took the time to try and make contact politely but I have to say I consider it bad manors when a person cannot find the time to reply. Yours Sincerely, Raymond Henderson.
