A perfectly fine genealogy program with loads of tools and features. However, if you choose to pay their fee for the Deluxe Edition you'll be sent a "key", a code to unlock the additional features. You can see at that link above what you get in each Edition. I have the Deluxe, have had for several years now. It's the only genealogy program I've used for my records, though I've looked at one or two others out of curiosity. Looking at the lists on that page above, the Deluxe features I make the most use of are mapping, the relationship calculator, pdf production, and the ability to add a variety of documents. That's just my preferences. Deluxe and Standard users can swap data files between themselves without problem. The Standard user simply won't be able to access the fields that are Deluxe-only, but they're still there in the file. There's also excellent peer-to-peer support at their free mailing list, Legacy User Group - http://legacyfamilytree.com/LegacyLists.asp Hope this helps. :-) Kind Regards, Wendy Howard *** Please reply to the list *** -- Kaiwaka, Northland, New Zealand http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wendyh65/ <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ewendyh65/>
