Charlie, You can get a good idea of what will happen in a number of mobile devices by going to - http://mobiletst.me ... and selecting a device. http://mobt.me/JzS4 ... shows your page in Landscape mode, and selecting Options and Portrait will give another view. We are using an Emulator, and some devices will allow touch-screen gestures to zoom in/out on images - not available here. Select Devices and Google Nexus 7, will provide a tablet type option. Basically, webpage designs for mobile devices cater in general to optimize the layout, but various devices will allow user gestures to make changes. So there is no guarantee that your layout will remain as expected.
