Thank you http://sites.rootsweb.com/~lankshear/ appeared back yesterday and also the original http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~lankshear/genealogy/ I use SSI for navigation headers and sidebars as in <!--#include virtual="/~lankshear/_includes/lankshear-navleft.htm" And for consistency across folders I coded it all with direct links to the pages as in <li><a TITLE="Lankshear - sources used in Research" HREF="http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~lankshear/Lankshear/index.htm">LANKSHEAR</a></li> So the SSI fails when it links to freepages as that is a different domain to "sites" Did I hear that "sites" was temporary and that "freepages" would return? Should I convert my freepages links to "sites" or is there another way to handle that HREF across folders? Filezilla FTP works for me on "sites". I was having problems and read http://sites.rootsweb.com/~gearyfamily/publishing-your-sites.html and realised I needed to change my new password to agree with rules that Pat laid out. But I cannot filezilla to the old "freepages". So it looks like there are now two versions of my pages on different domains? What is the plan? from Ron Lankshear
