    3. Nowhere does Google -- or any other search engine I know of -- guarantee to return (in search results) ALL the hits found by its bots. As for the difference of file type, there is no way for the Google bot as user agent to know if the data was from an SSI or not, let alone any details of the file, such as type. Just put it down as a mystery -- a Google whim. -R.
