A few weeks ago I started transferring my web site to rootsweb freepages at http://freepages.family.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rawlsofdorset/Index.htm at which time I regestered the new site via the form at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/hsr where I included many of the surnames associated with my site. In attempting to re enter the info I am notified that the site is already 'regestered'. To date I have not seen any reference to my site at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~websites/ or any other rootsweb website or surname lists for that matter. What if anything must I do to get a cross reference to my site? I note that google has already referenced several of my new pages already! Don Rawls
In your HEAD section you have <title>The Rawls of Dorset</title> So your page is indexed (registered) under the T's for "The". I think all I did was change my HEAD title tag to get mine to be in the Letter Indexing that I wanted. i.e. drop the "The".
