    3. In my header along with a whole bunch of other stuff I had this <head> <title>The Rawls of Dorset<title> <head> I have removed the "The" and we will see if it helps (could not find it under the "T"s either) but still wonder what all the "Please enter up to 10 surnames associated with your site." is about at the Hosted Site Registration (http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/hsr) if it does nothing?

Your site is listed under "resources" for the surname RAWLS at http://resources.rootsweb.ancestry.com/surnames/r/a/RAWLS/ The listing of surname websites at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~websites/ is updated less often, and it may take several weeks to appear there. You are not properly indexed in the Freepages index of websites because you have named your home page "Index.html" -- with a capital "I". Change the name of the page to use all lower case letters and it should be included in the next update. BTW, the Freepages indexer ignores articles such as "A" and "The". "The Rawls of Dorset" would be indexed under "R". Pat Asher
