I've been using PAF for a long time in Windows, and just recently started using it in Linux. [ If you want to know about using it in Linux write me and I will tell you more ] If your like me you have several different computers that you use for different stuff. My desktop(s) at home, laptop for travel and netbooks for ease of use when doing research at the library. I use a program called "Dropbox" to keep everything in line between computers. [ Standard disclaimers apply - I have no interest in nor receive benefit from......... ] I have my PAF database [ walsh.paf ] in Dropbox and any changes are automatically shared across all my computers. Enter data at the library and when I get home, or anyplace that I can get a connection, and connect to the internet the file is updated on all my computers.
