If you replace the current GEDCOM with a new one, then only one database exists. Do a search for someone in your database and see how many duplicate entries you find by the same person. This was one of the main reasons I do not allow download of my databases. I found the same people over and over uploading the same info rather than replacing old databases with new ones. pat
