Any advantages over just creating a sub-directory >in the original website? ================= Well if it was me and I was using each of the various subdirectories, then YES DEFINITELY, I would create each of those as separate websites on my computer. On my site http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gearyfamily/ there are three separate sites all under the genealogy sub directory http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gearyfamily/frontpage/ http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gearyfamily/expression-web/ Each of them has a totally different look. On my computer they are all part of the freepages website on my computer. If I was using each of the different communities available then each would be a totally separate web on my computer. The examples I gave you as how Judy was using the communities is as good an example as I can find. Each appears to be about the subject of the community Her site on Washington County churches under religion and the one on schools under school_alumni I do not use any of the other communities at the present time. pat g
