Lorrie, Judy has created an index page and loaded it to her misc_html directory. Do that, and create links to index pages on any of the other communities. Barry and all, I never quite understood the structure of the various rw directories available to account holders nor how to use them. Are you stating that each account holder has a misc, genealogy and other directories at their disposal that comes with their account or, that there are only one each of those directories and account holders share them? Please explain. What are the pros and cons of using several directories vs one? Lorrie, The root directory for freepages is:- http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~ It has also been assigned a directory name of misc_html, and the only difference from an URL point of view, is as its the root directory, it can be addressed as above, or using misc. The other communities, computers, military, history etc.. require to be addressed as such, and it is not possible to address another community using a relative path from another. They must be addressed using an absolute path.
