My WIn 7 system came with IE8 installed. BUT on each of my computers, I have the most current version of Firefox, Opera, Safari for Windows and Google Chrome installed. WHile I use Firefox for my default browser, I test in all of them. I also have Expression Web (all versions) but use mainly EW4 which allows me to use SuperPreview which gives me access to all versions of IE 6-9 and Safari for Mac. Not sure if that gives you what you want or not. I design for all versions of IE starting with 6 cause I still have enough folks using that browser that I want them to be able to see basically the same site newer versions of the browser use. pat

    3. Well I have very similar to Pat Except I am still XP so will remain at IE8 as IE9 needs a different MS OS As well as FF OPera and Chrome I have Pale Moon which is really the same as FF but especially tuned for Windows - it loads faster and much less memory usage - but all the FF Addons. Also Rockmelt which is a social network focussed browser - but seems to do browser things. A Facebook cousin suggested it. I am not yet sold on it. Which brings me to a question I tend to use Chrome for Ancestry.com searches as I found that FF and PM both have problems finishing loading pages when I am into deep drilling down searches within Ancestry. Suddenly page finishes but is blank. I looked at Forums and other reporting same but seemed to be no resolution. Whereas Chrome doesn't really have any problems drilling through several Ancestry pages and opening new tabs. However I like PM/FF for Table2clipboard Addon with Ancestry. Chrome has Table Capture which just doesn't have the Table2clip functions. I run CCLEANER to clear caches etc Anyone experienced similar?
