    3. Hi, Others will also answer you with more detailed help but I thought I'd send a quick note back. Freepages has "communities" (you can see them in File Manager aka File Man). You can choose which community you wish to use. Each "community" is a "website" -- all under your 1 account name. Each "website" (community) MUST have the very FIRST page named as the filename : index.htm OR index.html If you use *any* other name for the file for that first page, you cannot get to your website. (You could, but you'd need that exact name at the end.) When I clicked the link you provided I didn't pay attention to the words in the URL and of course, I got page not found. But I've realized you left off the "freepages" part. Your site is: http://freepages.family.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bereskin/ (note the dots between the words) Ancestry has re-directs set up so this URL also works (without the word ancestry in it) http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~bereskin/ The "index" file is assumed (as long as it is uploaded), so http://freepages.family.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bereskin/ is the same as http://freepages.family.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bereskin//index.htm (or html, depending on which you use) Same with the shorter URL without ancestry in it. Other people can discuss the methods you're using to do a webpage. There are easier ways to write a page than what you are doing. The "loop" you are getting back to the log-in screen may be a rootsweb issue.
