    3. Hi Ann, > I don't want to have to do everything myself in html code.... is there > another way? There are other ways - you can have your genealogy program generate pages for you, you can use a WYSIWYG program... there's probably others which I can't think of right now. Most genealogy programs I've seen have web-page generation capabilities. But you may not find it adequate for your needs. WYSIWYG means "what you see is what you get" and it's kind of like using a word processor to put text and words where you want them, and the program builds the HTML code in the background. Don't use your word processor, though - they do a terrible job of it. I'm using FrontPage, because my computer had it when I wanted to start working with web pages. There are free programs around - I think I've seen Komposer recommended here, or others will be along soon with their suggestions. Hope this helps. :-) Kind Regards, Wendy Howard *** Please reply to the list *** -- Kaiwaka, Northland, New Zealand http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wendyh65/ <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ewendyh65/>
