Hi Wendy, I would just download a 60 day trial of Expression web. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0a73a3a7-3e06-41 25-b3c6-f9c10387e9cc&displaylang=en - it is £25.00 if you are a student. This is so good to use and it highlights any errors you make, so as Pat advised, if you work in 'Split View' where you are able to see the webpage and it's accompanying HTML at the same time, you will see where you have gone wrong and will be able to correct - or ask this List. It is the new web program that Microsoft brought out to replace Frontpage, and is far, far better. You could use a template, from the program, which has many, or a Free one. I would also advise you to read Pat's excellent websites. http://www.genealogy-web-creations.com/ Try this one to start with. You will find that Pat's tutorials are so good and clearly written. Let us know what you intend to do, and the List will advise you further. Best of luck with whatever decision you come to. Bear in mind though, that web pages are made up of HTML and so you cannot have one if you don't take on board that you have to learn some HTML.
