I am just getting back into writing my own HTML coding after a long absence as I need to make a lot of amendments to my family history pages. When I wrote my original pages, I was using Avant Browser/IE so right click on the page to be amended worked every time. BUT I now use Firefox - and OK I get the Souce page, but not a version I can work on to amend my script. So how do I find the source page without having to switch browsers? I'm sure the answer is simple, but I've spent all day trying to sort this out and have got nowhere :( Regards, Ann McClean in Mid-Wales, U.K. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List Owner PALMER-EAST-ANGLIA-UK@rootsweb.com For the discussion and sharing of information regarding the PALMER surname in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Huntingdonshire, South Lincolnshire, and the borders with Essex and Bedfordshire. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List Owner WEATHERSTON@rootsweb.com mailing list For the discussion and sharing of information regarding the WEATHERSTON surname in the Norham and Horncliffe area of Northumberland in particular, and all places where their WEATHERSTON descendants have settled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CAWTHORN, SCOTT, & DeSILVA PALMER Family History Pages: http://www.annmcclean.co.uk/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. FRom Pat Asher............................... To Firefox, add the Web Developer Add-on. It will add a toolbar with options for editing the HTML and/or CSS of any page you are viewing. You will, of course, have to save your edits to your hard drive, before uploading them to the server. ------------------- Remember, when you 'view source' to edit a page, and save it, you will also be saving the top & bottom Rootsweb banner codes, which will duplicate again on the upload. Be sure to remove this code.
