I am attempting to access my page: http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~weber/genealogy/index.htm, but I am unable to login. I did attempt to change the password, but it appears that the account is associated with an old email address, glw@csrlink.net. My new email is glweb@comcast.net. I cannot find a way to change the associated email so as to be able to obtain a new password. Gary Weber
LOL, like I said, only 1 Filezilla (for our purposes). [Didn't know about server anyway.]
Nope there are actually two Client and Server. She has been working with server which will never work for her. Working with her off list. Judy, .column4b {padding: 4px;} will add the same padding to all four sides, i.e. top, right, bottom, and left (in that order). You can add padding to one side only using .column4b {padding-right: 4px;} You can add different paddings to the four sides using .column4b {padding-top: 0; padding-right: 4px; padding-bottom: 0; padding-left: 2px;} Or you can use shorthand, remembering that the paddings are listed clockwise (top, right, bottom, left) as .column4b {padding 0 4px 0 2px;} or for one side .column4b {padding 0 4px 0 0;} The box-sizing property includes the padding and border in the element's total width and height, e.g. 25%. box-sizing: border-box; for universal box sizing, the syntax is * { box-sizing: border-box; } Or you can apply it only to certain element classes using the element class name such as .4colsection {box-sizing:border-box;} Pat Asher
As a reminder, the info in the CSS file is 2s (not listed here) .column3a, .column3b, .column3c {padding:4px} .column3a {width: 33%; float: left;} (note, I changed these to 33% vs 33.33 ) .column3b {width: 33%; float: left;} .column3c {width: 33%; float: left;} .column4a {width: 25%; float: left;} .column4b {width: 25%; float: left;} --- This one is too close to 4c. Only 1 or 2 spaces between them. .column4c {width: 25%; float: left;} .column4d {width: 25%; float: left;} 5s not listed here The names in the 4a to 4d set are a bit longer. It leaves only 1 or 2 spaces between 4b and 4c. The 3s have some padding, but is that a boxed padding on all sides?? I just want a couple spaces between 4b and the start of 4c -- how would that be written? ??? .column4b, .column4c {padding:2px} ??? (Can I leave out specific columns that don't need extra space between them?) If I add 2 px of space, then does 4c need to be trimmed to 23% ??? 4b has the longer names. Ideas to give some room? * P.S. I like using these columns, so I'm *not* looking for a new method. Judy P.S. Just wanted to thank Barry a second time for catching the ( versus { error that was in the CSS before. The floats work flawlessly for my purposes and the method gets rid of so many 'presentation' tables; thank you, Pat.
What a clearly discussed strategies and check lines! I am sure to hire the same seo campaign opted by my friend for her business perspectives. Also explored the site of http://visiblefactors.com/seo-consulting/ and found them exclusive with bundle of ideas. Their strategies used are amazing with perfect resources of tools. Even their main motive is customer satisfaction only.

Hi I've attempted to get a new password twice, but it looks as though my current e-mail address may not tie in with the address I was using when I set the site up some 15 + years ago, my previous ISP having gone bust IIRC : >Confirmation token did not match Anybody got any ideas regarding an alternative means of achieving a better result ? I can see the web site : http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~pbtyc/genealogy/PR_Index.html so it still exists. If you have requested and received the new password following the password rules and followed the instructions for setting up your site in FIlezilla. http://sites.rootsweb.com/~gearyfamily/publishing-your-sites.html Use Site Manager not quickconnect. You should not have a problem. Make sure you do not have extra spaces at the end of your password. And that you have the remote directory entered correctly. If you continue to have a problem, if you want to contact me off list, I can try to help.
