My suggestion with regard to images, is that you load them to the correct Rootsweb directory, then make absolute links to them, and provided you are on line they will be visible locally. Do likewise with additional pages as you load them to the server. That way anyone working with the files and/or images will have access to them through those absolute links. Like I said, there is a learning curve! Barry

When reviewing the Experimental Sortable Table at:- http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bristowe/test/sortable-table-2.html I checked its operation in IE6 and found it running there OK. Further checking revealed IE6's history - 6.0 Beta 1 Released March 22, 2001. More CSS changes and bug fixes to be more W3C-compliant. 6.0 Released August 27, 2001 Final release. Support ended on September 30, 2004. Windows XP. 6.0 SP1 Released September 9, 2002. Support ended on October 10, 2006. Windows XP SP1 and Windows Server 2003. 6.0 SP2 Released August 25, 2004. Support ended on July 13, 2010. Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1. 6.0 SP3 Released April 21, 2008. Latest updates included with XP SP3. Supported until April 8, 2014. Windows XP SP3. So there you are; IE6 will be supported by Micro Soft for another year and six months, which explains why it is still showing up in the browser statistics.

Hi Does anyone if it is possible to change the username of a freepages website. Mike
In addition... Also make it small .. mine was "theLostColonyResearch" and they gave me - molcgdrg not even close.. Its been that way since 06 or 07... but the important part... in your website's - each page's header <.title> you can put the full name <./title> this will show up in rootsweb's index listings, it will also show up in a search engine. The Amaya 11 editor is capable of handling large sites and providing user options not available in many other WYSIWYG editors. A good place to start is the Help Menu. It will take time and patience, but the softwares ability to create complex pages cannot be beaten by others. As I said earlier, I don't use this software to create pages, but have used Amaya from time to time when wanting to make SVG graphics or display a complex math formula. Each part of the sub menu can be minimized/maximized, and there is no need for it to be scrollable. My preference for new users is the SeaMonkey "Composer" editor which is coupled with a modern and up-to-date browser. As you have clearly pointed out, it is not for you, but others may find a use for it. Barry
