Audrey, You're as young as you want to feel! Open your existing FileZilla and look for the Help link - top line, last item on right. Open Help and click on Check for Updates... and the program will check for the latest update and prompt you to download it. That's all you need do, as it will install the current version and reopen itself - ready to work. When you've achieved that, check in with the list and get guidance if required as how to set it up. I think I got caught in that 10+ password problem. I've requested to reset my password several times over the past few days and still no e-mail. It's not in any of my spam filters as I keep a pretty constant eye on them On 08/04/2018 07:29 AM, J Taylor` wrote: > My site is online and I have requested a password several times but have > not received it. I use Kompozer and Filezilla - separately. I update a page in Kompozer and then open Filezilla to upload it. It's just as easy for me that way. My website has been restored. It is here: http://sites.rootsweb.com/~boyerlinks/ I'm very pleased that almost everything now works. But now I cannot change anything because Filezilla does not let me upload the changes I have made by using the text editor Kompozer. Here's what happens when I try to use Filezilla: Host: sftp://sitesuser.rootsweb.com Port: 22 Username: boyerlinks Password: (as given) Quickconnect: "Unknown host key" Remote site: boyerlinks Genealogy boyer_easton neil.html Quickconnect: Remote site boyerlinks/genealogy.html boyer_easton (This is on the right side of the screen. On the left side is Local site:C:\and a list of 20 files. None of the files opens Kompozer to allow me to edit the site. If I double-click on boyer_easton, it opens up a list of about 20 text files, but none of those opens up the editor. And so I am stuck. Nothing happens.) Advice? Many thanks in advance. Neil
My site is online and I have requested a password several times but have not received it. I get the notice after I request it that if I have not received it in 15 minutes to try again. I know I am using the right email address. Who do I contact? Thank you, Jerry Taylor

Jan, Did you have an index.htm page, or was the site accessed via another page? Just appears from the Forbidden message, that there is a possibility your site is there, if accessed with the correct url. Our genealogy web site is back up and available. However we are unable to change our pass word as required.
