In such cases, the duplicate scan should be ignored If a duplicate occurs between the end of one allocation and the start of the next, then it is unlikely to be spotted, and it is no problem. Whilst it is not a formal second keying, such accidental second keyings are harmless. If a transcriber finds two identical scans in an allocation, it is a complete waste of his/her time to transcribe it twice. -- Dave Mayall
