John I'm not the whiz-kid on the coding aspects I'm just the humble chaser up of errant and suspect files. However be assured if the coding is similar to that which detects the files which appear in the Suspect Report it has been 100% successful (to the best of my knowledge) in identifying Suspect Files, I have not known one instance of it being wrong. This takes into account combination of File Names including or excluding the initial letter of the Surname. If a file includes a +BREAK I can see no reason why we would pick it up as an errant file. I'm not sure which email you mentioned about there are errors and 'errors' if you can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Would this be the same email that I have requested details of previously and am still waiting a response? I would hate to think that we are identifying files as being in error when in fact they are correct and comply to our "Rules". This would be totally unfair to volunteers and be time wasting for both volunteers, co-ordinators and me. In hindsight we should have done things differently years ago about preventing certain files being uploaded to FreeBMD. However better late than never is the next best thing. If you or other Co-ordinators could give me some examples of where there are errors and 'errors' in files, this will me enable me to test the coding for identifying errant files. It is now optional ie 1887B1(M)xxxx. What happens when the file ends in +BREAK. As I pointed out the other day there are errors and 'errors' Otherwise it should have been in operation ages ago.
