I am ready for this one. You need to stop Quicktime interfering with your download. Open Quicktime. Select Edit, then Preferences, then Quicktime preferences. In the top box select File type Associations. Press file types Now select images and expand. Remove the ticks against any type of image you are downloading. Look under Miscellaneous as well and do the same. That should silence it. Click OK Cheers, John ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 07, 2004 9:00 AM Subject: FREEBMD-SYNDICATES-D Digest V04 #177 No virus found in this incoming message. I download in a different way and with a different browser but tried to mimic my transcriber's problem and then adapted your solution to my much earlier version of Quicktime. Worked a treat - just hope the transcriber follows it through correctly! -- Philip Powell The Fellwanderers
