I have a transcriber who always seems to be in a mess with his file names. He first got the Files Names option in WinBMD set to SpeedBMD names and we got that corrected thanks to advice from this list. Now however his transcribed files sent to me are correctly named - eg. 1887B3H0226.BMD - but appear on the database as 1887B3_226, although the file name in the file header is correct. His latest upload appears as 1887_238 which is quite useless as a file name with no event or quarter. How is this possible and what to do to correct it ? Cheers, Ted Southcombe
