What is the correct way to tackle Scottish surnames, please (in WinBMD). In the scan they are in the format of eg. McADAMS (in fact the ' c ' is superscript but TKB 6(o) deals with that). Does the ' c ' also have to be in lower case and how to do it ? I've found that by highlighting the ' c ' and selecting Edit > Lowercase the individual letter can be changed from uppercase to lowercase - is that the best way ? Cheers, Ted Southcombe
