Just a quick update for Syndicate Co-ordinators. The latest update (06/10/2004) of the Suspect Report shows a dramatic reduction in the number of Suspect Files. We are now down to 286 Suspect Files and any help you can give in reducing this still further would be appreciated? I have detected the work of at least one Co-ordinator in getting this list down to manageable proportions. It should be possible to deduce from a file name and associated problem whether the file was one uploaded by one of your volunteers. Co-ordinators can disregard any files where the problem is shown as "Too many entries between +PAGE" as the chances are I'm already working on eliminating these files from the Suspect Report. Hi Allan, I saw your recent reply to a question on whether this report can show syndicate names, and perhaps it is too complicated where people are members of multiple syndicates but I really do find it difficult (and very time consuming) going through this list looking for names that could belong to my syndicate, and how syndicates the size of Scan2 cope I really don't know. I hate suggesting further work for people but do you think there is mileage in asking someone to investigate changing this facility so that it does show the syndicate(s)? I doubt many people are members of more than two or three syndicates and it wouldn't overly complicate the look of the report to list that number at the end of each entry.
