    3. I am trying to send one of my transcribers a completed WinBMD file. I am told that when it arrives it shows up having an MIM extension rather than BMD and will not open. I have not come across this before, can anyone offer any help or advice please John

    3. John, afaik this is another AOL thing. When AOL receives an email with an attachment it encapsulates it in an mme 'file'. The receiving AOL user needs to click on the attachment and "Open" it to get at the original attachment.
