Depending on the report, Upload Report can be quite expensive on resources and tends to suffer more if the system is heavily loaded. From http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/UsageInfo.html you can see that we are performing very high levels of searches and at times about 25% of these are failing due to the heavy load. As you may be aware further servers will be added shortly which should help the situation. Nevertheless, I have done some optimisations on the syndicate database which may help a bit.
