For awareness ============= As you will probably know, we are in the process of adding additional server capacity to relieve the congestion on the site. At 16:00 today, the first of those servers was added to the server farm, as a final test of its functionality. Apart from a brief period of instability as the other servers adjusted to take account of the new arrival, no problems have been experienced. Given the lack of problems so far, the trial is to be extended, and the new server will remain on-line overnight. The performance will be reviewed tommorow, and if all is well, it will become a permanent fixture.
