G'day Everyone We have a MAC user just joined us & we have a couple of queries if someone could help us please The file she's sent us is a .dat file so I'm presuming that is wrong She also couldn't work out "how to tab to get the middle name in & the age at death or how to name the file" I did find a graphic of what the MacBMD Header Input looks like but it's obviously not enough Any MAC users out there that could give us some step-by-step instructions please or point us into the right direction? It is quite possible to verify a dat file. You simply have to look for 'all files' instead of 'bmd and sca files' in BMDVerify Some of my transcribers manage to send me dat files from WinBMD - I can't work out how!
