    3. Keith If there is a genuine need to have access to the File management of volunteers to correct files along the lines you mention then package the volunteers up in one list and send to: synd-coord@freebmd.org.uk . Either I or Kevin will deal with such requests. Allan Raymond ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keith Simpson" <ksimpson68@btinternet.com> To: <FreeBMD-syndicates@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 21, 2009 11:57 AM Subject: Suspect Files I have a number of transcribers who have I have not been able to contact and some of their files are shown on the SUSPECT FILE listing page. When I have checked their last uploads I have found that the majority have not uploaded anything since 2008. Now I know that when a transcriber states they no longer have an interest in Freebmd or are unable to be contacted that their coordinator can request transfer of ownership to carry out amendments as needed. I don't want to over burden the system and ask for transfer of ownership of all the members files at once. So do I ask for transfer of ownership in stages, i.e. maybe two at a time. Any help appreciated. Thanks Keith ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to FREEBMD-SYNDICATES-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Alan, There are only 17 files listed and they are of the format 'or/alias' with regard to the surnames. I believe this constitutes a genuine reason, so I will send details to synd-coord@freebmd.org.uk . Unless you advise otherwise.
