I think the fundamental issue is where WinBMD, by default, stores user files. Keeping user files in "Program Files" is deprecated because it only works for single user machines and, with Vista, it is not allowed. The standard default is "My Documents" or a subfolder thereof (e.g. My Documents/WinBMD). However, fixing this only helps for new users. A new version of WinBMD could offer, during installation, to move the user's files to My Documents and/or provide the 'prepare file for sending by email' facility. I suspect, though, that in the context of the immediate new version of WinBMD only the latter facility could be achieved.
