Occasionally it is necessary for pages to be re-transcribed as a replacement for the original transcription. In these circumstances it is important that the original transcription is not deleted until after the replacement has been uploaded. This applies even if the original transcription appears in the Suspect Files list. Not adhering to this process causes various problems with the update that take quite a lot of effort to investigate and sort out.
