    3. Barrie Am I right in understanding that what you are saying is that files copied from Show File should not then be used to be sent back as uploaded files? However there can be other good reasons for copying files from Show File. I suspect that like many co-ordinators I copy files or parts of files from Show File and paste them into emails to transcribers, in order to give feedback on transcriptions, or to indicate which lines need changing if a file is to be corrected. Whereas I prefer new transcribers to send me transcription files as email attachments for checking, every now and again there is one who can't work out how to do that and simply send the file to FreeBMD. Again, if a transcriber submits a file for the wrong year, wrong type, or wrong page number it is useful to copy the headers from the uploaded file and indicate what they need to change in File Management to put it right. A co-ordinator cannot take a copy of a transcriber's file from File Management unless the password is known.
