One of my transcribers recently asked me about a line on Page 37 of the range K-Z of the 1933 March Quarter marriages. The spouse name has two names but no hyphen or "OR" between the two names. I have suggested that they enter it as a single record (ie not two copies as we would do with an OR in the name) with the comment as follows: Lowthorpe Harry McCarthy Murphy Epsom #COMMENT,This line appears to have an OR missing between McCarthy and Murphy - if so it should be described as two entries but with the way it is typed we have transcribed it as a single entry. Would anyone like to comment on whether this is the correct thing to do under these circumstances or not? Many thanks, Clive Essery *************************************************************************** If you are not the intended recipient, please notify our Help Desk at Email isproduction@nats.co.uk immediately.
